Andreas Lehrmann is a postdoctoral researcher working at the intersection of machine learning and computer vision. His research focuses on the development of deep non-parametric models for structured data and approximate methods for the associated inference tasks. He is also interested in graphical models exploiting the temporal context in time-series data. Fields of application in computer vision include scene understanding, natural language processing, and human pose estimation.

Before joining Disney Research in 2016, Andreas was a Microsoft Research Ph.D. scholar at ETH Zurich (Switzerland) and the Max-Planck-Institute for Intelligent Systems (Germany). Prior to that, he obtained a Master’s in bioinformatics from the University of Tuebingen (Germany).
