Rasmus Tamstorf is currently a senior research scientist at Walt Disney Animation Studios where he has held various positions since 1998. His research interests focus on physical simulation of elastic materials, contact mechanics, and high performance computing. Throughout the years he has worked on numerous feature films, and most recently his work has been used for cloth and soft tissue simulation in Zootopia. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and a Ph.D. in computer science from ETH Zurich.
