Project_Pixelbots_teaser

Pixelbots is a new kind of display composed of a mobile robot swarm. Each robot acts as an individual pixel and has controllable color. We use the swarm to make representational images and animated movies.

The robotics research is in collision avoidance for a swarm of mobile robots. The graphics research is in creating visual effects using a small number of mobile pixels.
